Omaha is incredibly lucky to have so many craft breweries around. They all have a unique identity and great beer selections.
One of the newest to the Omaha craft beer scene is Infusion Brewing Company. They opened less than six months ago in Benson and have exploded in popularity. They offer beer tours to learn more about their business.
Tour times are:
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm
Wednesday at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm
Saturdays at Noon, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm
The tours last 45 minutes and cover the whole process their beer goes through, from conception to selling.
The employees are so friendly and are willing to answer any questions you have. They also give out a lot of free beer during the tour. 😀
You can go in the giant refrigerators and see how they pipe their beer up to the taps at the bar.
You can taste the various grains and learn the difference between chocolate malt and honey malt, and how flavors can be paired various ways to create various beers.
You can see the huge tubs their beers are kept in and learn about the importance of temperature when creating beer.
And best of all, you can hang out at the bar afterwards and enjoy a good beer in good company.
If you’re not a beer fan, no worries. They serve mixed drinks too. 😀
